Sora goes a step further and also connects you to the county library eBooks for your student's age band, and a state shared school library collection of eBooks and audiobooks. MEET YOUR LIBRARIAN

profile photo.jpg

My name is Amy Penwell, and I am proud to be the librarian for Riverton School's awesome students and amazing teachers.  Here's a little bit about me:

  1. I became a librarian when I earned my MLIS at Rutgers University. I have an undergraduate degree in History from Bryn Mawr College. In between those accomplishments I have been a consultant, a systems project manager, and a mergers and acquisitions analyst, and, most importantly, a mom!

  2. My family includes my husband, two almost-grown children (one in college, one who graduated from college in 2018), and one really old cat. We all live in Moorestown, NJ.

  3. I love to read. My favorite books are historical fiction, and anything that makes clever observations about life. When I'm not at school or reading, I love to spin, weave, and knit. My new pandemic hobby is quilting!

A whole new world!

“Design is creativity with strategy”

Well, that pretty much sums up the last couple of weeks for me and the website I have been dreaming about for *years* for our school library.

Honor a birthday or other special occasion for your student by donating a book to the Riverton School library!

You can make a donation, or purchase books directly from our wish list. Your purchase will arrive ready to put on the library shelf!

If you would like to donate a different book, please have the title approved by Mrs. Penwell to make sure it is suitable for the library and we don't already own it.

All donations will be acknowledged with a thank you note sent home with your child, and your child will be the first to check out the new book from our library.
